This year, our senior cap and gown photos AND formal drape/tux photos will be taken on campus by Lifetouch. Lifetouch will provide everything needed for the photos. It is asked that men wear a solid white t shirt under their uniform this day and ladies wear a camisole or tank top or easy change from one to the other. 

This is a little different from how we have done things in the past, so I am calling on my senior parents for help!

We will be shuffling approximately 200 seniors throughout the day and through the gym to take two different photos. They will change for their formal photo, take their pictures, change back into their school clothes, and somehow we are going to keep all 200 of them moving in the right direction. What could possibly go wrong?!

This is where you come in!

We need some extra parent eyes and hands to help us:

• Move seniors through the process
• Make sure hair is picture-ready
• Make sure our gentlemen are clean-shaven
• Check that there are no nose rings or anything else that is not approved by ILTexas
• Straighten bow ties, drapes, gowns, and tassels
• Give them the good old-fashioned parent once-over before they step in front of the camera!

These photos will be used for the yearbook and our Senior Wall, so years from now, when they look at that picture and ask, "Why did you let me leave the house looking like that?" we would all like to be able to say, "We didn't!"

I know most of you will be tied up with work and other responsibilities, but if you can spare even one hour, we will gladly put you to work. I promise there will be no shortage of seniors who need a bow tie straightened, hair fixed, or a loving reminder that yes, the nose ring really does have to come out, and stay out.
